In order to catch the attention of residents and drive curbside bin requests, the Hillsborough County Solid Waste Management Department and CVP launched an unusual county-wide education campaign called “Famous Bins.” The campaign used a variety of “bin” picture riddles on billboards, bus sides and a cinema spot to drive traffic to a new Web site (www.HillsboroughRecycles.org) where residents could order curbside bins.
